green greek dress
September 2, 2010Try saying that five times in a row: green greek dress, green greek dress, green greek dress, green geek.. anyway: it’s green and long and chique again. The neckline of this dress was ispired by a top from Madeleine Vionnet, one of the most important fashion designers of the last century. The belt is the one I made earlier, just a simple strip of leather with a ring on one side to tie and close the belt.

wishing you lots of success with your challenge. your design philosphy is pure and sincere and i look forward to following your path. do you have a follower’s link? if yes, i would like to join it.

Wow, this is lovely, love the colour:) I found you via designsponge and look forward to following more of your lovely creations
I am visiting your site after seeing you on design sponge. This dress is fabulous, and so is the wraparound blue linen dress from an older post. Do you make up your own patterns or do you use commercial ones? I would love to make the same dresses!
Thanks
Hi Priscilla,
Glad you like my dresses! This particular dress is inspired on a Madeleine Vionnet pattern, but usually I draw my own patterns. Luckily the mistakes I made in the blue wraparound are invisible, hidden under my armpits
. Since people keep asking I will try to put up some of my patterns soon, which you can alter yourself for your own specific size.
