inspiration

I’ve been on holiday and came home with a head full of ideas, which explains why I haven’t posted as much as before. I can only show my ideas when I’ve actually made them, and between idea and finished garment a lot can happen.
It all starts with inspiration. Usually it’s the fabric that inspires me. It’s color and texture have to appeal to me, obviously, but the fabric also has to give me a hint of what I can make from it. The different shades of viscose/lycra tricot in the picture made me think of geometric tops and jumpers, as you can see in the drawings. Nothing is sure yet, but I’ll keep you posted on the results!
